Intumescent Pillows

Intumescent pillows contain graphite in a fibreglass bag. In a fire, they expand to seal service penetrations around electrical containment. They can be used temporarily or permanently in walls or floors around trunking, cable tray, ductwork and pipework, including inside cable trunking. Fire resistance is EN1366.3 EI 120, with ETA and CE approval.

Applications:

• Firestopping in walls or floors around trunking, cable tray, ductwork, pipework etc.
• Firestopping within cable trunking.
• For use in masonry, concrete and plasterboard partitions.
• Ideal for use where services need to be frequently modified.
