Galvanised Hexagon Bolts

Galvanised bolts have superior corrosion resistance to zinc plated for long life in external applications. The bolts are dipped in molten zinc and spun to remove the excess leaving a minimum 40 mu layer of zinc. Hot Dip Galvanised nuts have oversized threads to accomodate the zinc layer on the bolt threads. These are commonly specified for ductile iron above ground pipework.
